Rob Bateman is a Flash developer who has always had an interest in the 3rd dimension (aside from living in it every day), and he finally got the chance to combine the two when Flash 9 allowed the programming speed to produce more than just a rotating cube. He now fronts the open source 3D framework Away3D, and has become a full time specialist in 3D web development.
