OpenGL ES

OpenGL ES is a popular cross-platform API for 2D and 3D graphics on embedded systems. This includes not only mobile phones but also consoles, appliances and vehicles. Most notably it is fully supported on both iOS and Android. It provides a flexible and powerful low-level interface between software and graphics acceleration.

This session will aim to provide an introduction to OpenGL ES specifically aimed at Flash developers. In addition, it briefly undertakes to investigate techniques for ensuring that the code-base can be ported from device to device.
