Elmer is an Internet Applications Manager at Hutchison Whampoa Ltd. Working within the global marketing unit and as member of the innovation team of the company he is responsible for introducing new IP based products and services which make full use of the company’s UMTS based mobile network.

Previously he has worked as a senior creative in digital agency Holler for over two years. He started working with Flash in 2001 as a freelancer, was chairman of the largest Dutch flash community and organisation FlashFocus, and has co-organised Flashtival, a Dutch Flash conference, in 2003 and 2004.
