Building 3D Websites in Flash
Overview
This two day course will cover essential 3D Flash techniques for the Developer and/or Designer with some coding skills. Featuring the latest Papervision3D and Away3D engines, the course will focus on how best to use the API’s in any given situation, tackling basic issues that arise such as asset loading, scene arrangement, interaction, optimising for speed, effective use of 3D and how it can be integrated into traditional 2D Flash content.
Presented by Rob Bateman

Thanks Rob, a very successful course. It was good to have the expertise of the core developer there so you could answer all of our questions no matter how awkward.

Over all a great job, I especially liked the informal approach to what was taught / discussed (though this wouldnt suit everyone).

The course was great and helpful to understand building 3d websites.
I really enjoyed the lecture and send my feedback.
I hope this feedback help you to improve the next lectures.

The opportunity to meet Rob and ask some direct questions about what\’s really going on with that 3D framework of his, and the fact he was happy to explain about papervision too was priceless.

The course was great, as I don’t have much experience in building 3D experience I felt that the knowledge was great.

Hi - I enjoyed the course, it was very helpful.

I thought the course was good and well-paced, although I think the *title* of the course was misleading. We didn’t actually build any 3D websites. We learned how to apply 3D principles and effects to objects with limited interactivity (mouse drag, or arrow keys).
Perhaps a better title for the course would have been ‘Applying 3D Principles to Flash’ or ‘Everything you wanted to know about the z-axis but were afraid to ask’.
It was great meeting Rob - one of the movers and shakers of the Flash 3D community for sure. Don’t forget to update you Away3D libraries. They’ve just released v 2.0…
