The Budding Alchemist (19:00 – 20:00) – Thomas Vian
Still in it’s early stages, Alchemy is the strangest and yet perhaps most exciting project to come from the Adobe labs in some time. In performing it’s magic, thousands of libraries of code have overnight become available to Flash developers.
This session gives an introduction to the world of Alchemy, how it works, how to set it up, and how to use it in your own projects
Hands-On with the Pixel Bender (20:15 – 21:15) – Michael Chase
This session will review how to create Pixel Bender effects using the Adobe’s PB toolkit and Lacquer’s visual effect editor Conduit. The focus being on importing and embedding these filters into Flex/AS3 projects using Flex Builder as well as exploring future applications of Pixel Bender technology.
